Harlem Park to Park (HP2P) was co-founded by Nikoa Evans and eight other entrepreneurs during the economic downturn in 2009 as an effort to organize the small businesses in Harlem to collectively produce strategic marketing and placemaking initiatives designed to increase awareness of the dining, entertainment and lifestyle amenities available in the neighborhood. Through Nikoa’s outreach efforts, membership in Harlem Park to Park grew to 100+ businesses by 2011 when she assumed the title of Executive Director.
