Sugar Land, Texas – March 10, 2025 — Maison 276, the trailblazing beauty, health, and wellness brand dedicate to solving the unique needs of women aged 50 and above, proudly announces the appointment of Nikoa Evans-Hendricks to its Board of Directors.

I am thrilled to announce I’ve been appointed to the Board of Directors of national beauty brand Maison 276. Launching in 700+ Walmart stores in March, Maison 276's flagship product, the 3-Step System for Silver, Gray, and Blonde Hair, has redefined haircare for women of all textures and hair types navigating the beauty of aging.

I’m proud to say my journey with Founder & CEO Angel Cornelius began in 2018, long before the brand was named one of “Beauty’s Next Big Bets” by Walmart. I first met Angel when she applied to the Harlem Local Vendor Program, a business accelerator program I created in 2015 in collaboration with Whole Foods Market and Columbia Business School to help emerging brands scale their business models for national wholesale distribution.

After graduating from the program, Angel continued to build her brand and skin care line with her signature Pomegranate Kiss Body Butter going viral soon after, including being featured in the ESSENCE Beauty Box. Following the success of the skincare products, Angel launched the innovative Maison 276 3-Step System for Silver and Blonde Hair. And the rest as they say was history!

Angel and her son Keith Cornelius Jr. (who serves as the company’s President) can attest to the “not so pretty side” of the hustle and grind it takes to survive and thrive as a beauty entrepreneur. Now, 4 years later, Maison 276 is adding 700+ Walmart stores to its distribution and can also be purchased on Amazon.

Angel is one of the many reasons I've recently launched the platform The Nitty Gritty With Nikoa, a community driven platform for "battle-tested" entrepreneurs where we share unfiltered truths about what it really takes to survive and thrive as an entrepreneur.
